What inspires you to write

I have always had a colourful and sometimes weird Imagination. I see and hear things others may not. I don’t sit at a desk and wait for an idea to pop into my head or research topics.

I see or hear something around me and an idea will be born out of nowhere. My first idea for a book was born when I saw tiny people helping me play the piano, they would dance on the piano keys to make sure I hit the right notes. At this point you are probably thinking this women is on drugs or insane, right? I’m not on drugs but I may be a bit crazy 😂 Well I unfortunately had a wicked piano teacher who would hit me over the knuckles if I hit a wrong note. So I invented tiny people to
help me cope. My friends Teeny and Tiny saved me from certain doom. So I invented a town for them called Peppertoe which was located in the water drains, this was where all the tiny people lived. I can’t say too much more as I’ll ruin the story.

What I’m trying to say is an idea for a story can come from anywhere at anytime. Don’t force it, stress about it, just let it happen. Write all your ideas down, never let an idea float away.

Live life like a book, make it magical, exciting, adventurous, be different. The ideas will start flooding in and before you know it you will be madly scribbling the next best seller.
