Peace and Contentment

Have you ever felt the struggle with your mind and body when searching for that feeling of peace and contentment? It can create an unsettling sense of fight or flight. Fight to achieve it or flight, run as fast as you can away from it.

This suffocating hold can become overwhelming and manage to suffocate anything positive in your life.

Firstly you have to search for the why? Why am I feeling like this, what has triggered this situation. When you break things down it’s easy to put the puzzle together.

Take a deep breath, mediate, pray, ask for clarity, talk to a friend. Most importantly find the missing piece that has pushed your path off track. Once you have achieved this let your mind reason with that trigger and find a way to lessen the trauma. Look at it from both sides and allow yourself to accept that situation/ trigger and work on how you can lessen this feeling of hurt, so you can set it free and untangle yourself for the tortuous cage you have put yourself in.

Achieving peace and contentment in your life can only come from you. So when you experience triggers that steal this from you, breath, mediate, pray and surrender the trigger from your life. Only then will you be set free.
